Job opening – Social media and digital content coordinator

Key responsibilities
Social media strategy and management
Create, publish, and manage engaging content across our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Ensure a consistent, professional, and inspiring digital presence
Expand Mira’s presence on TikTok by creating attractive and interactive content with the community
Contribute to the development and tracking of the editorial calendar
Manage daily interactions: respond to messages and comments, engage actively with the community
Analyze digital performance metrics and campaigns, and suggest optimizations
Monitor trends and best practices in social media and adapt quickly
Content creation
Collaborate with internal teams to promote events, campaigns, and special projects
Produce clear, positive, and audience-appropriate written content
Design, publish, and manage visually appealing content (graphics, videos, stories, posts) to boost engagement
Maintain and update website content
Support awareness and fundraising campaigns through compelling content creation
Coordinate with vendors for video shoots and production of media content
Communications and event support
Promote communication tools and resources
Keep the online store up to date
Actively participate in events: logistical support, content creation before, during, and after events (photos, videos, testimonials), and interaction with participants
Contribute to marketing and communications projects as needed
Education and experience
University degree in communications, marketing, digital media, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent French writing and speaking skills; strong knowledge of English
Proficient in major social platforms and management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite)
Skilled in design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
Asset: knowledge of Google Analytics
Asset: experience in video editing or photography
Asset: experience in the nonprofit or philanthropic sector
Ideal profile

Salary: Based on experience and pay scales; comprehensive benefits package
Location: Sainte-Marie-Madeleine, QC
Position type: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; occasional evenings and weekends for events
