On May 8, for the Grand McDon day, a portion of the proceeds from all menu items sold at McDonald’s restaurants will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Montreal, as well as to a local cause chosen by each franchisee. This year, Groupe J.H.C, which owns restaurants in the Montreal area, has chosen to support Mira.

During this special day, many partners and volunteers will be on site to collect donations. Foster families, accompanied by socialization dogs, will also be present to meet visitors, and promotional items will be available for sale to support the campaign.

Good news! You can also participate in the campaign now by visiting any Groupe J.H.C location or through the McDonald’s mobile app*. Here’s how:

  • Make a donation of $2, $5, or $10 in exchange for a Grand McDon heart.

  • Purchase a pair of campaign-themed socks for $6.

*When using the app, make sure to select one of the Groupe J.H.C restaurants.

“I want to express my deep gratitude to Groupe J.H.C for choosing our cause as part of the Grand McDon. Their commitment to making this collaboration a success and their generosity will make a real difference in advancing our important mission, while having a direct impact on the lives of the people we support,” said Nicolas St-Pierre, CEO of Mira.
