Uni-Select raises more than $100,000 for the Mira Foundation !

The Mira Foundation is pleased to announce that Uni-Select, a Quebec-based auto parts distributor, in partnership with the National Bank and Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, has raised a sum of $ 101 650 as part of its annual golf tournament which has attracted 200 golfers at the Vallée du Richelieu Golf Club on July 16, 2012.

It is with much gratitude that the entire Mira Foundation team wishes to thank the organizers and all those who participated in the success of this day. Uni-Select has been faithfully supporting the Mira Foundation for some years. The goal of its annual golf tournament has been exceeded this year, enabling the grant of the largest donation yet accumulated during this tournament. Congratulations for this great success and thank you wholeheartedly!

The 15th Omnium MIRA took place on August 9th, 2011 at the beautiful St-Raphael Golf Course, in the heart of Ile-Bizard, just minutes from Montreal. $ 500 000 was raised this year, for an amazing total of $ 5.5 million raised to date by this annual golf tournament!

We are incredibly thankful to all the golfers who have generously agreed to participate in this 15th edition of the Omnium MIRA. Once again, the organizers have outdone themselves. Thank you to Roberto Pietrovito, Nadia Lisi and Rafik Ackad, masterminds of this prestigious tournament, for your tireless efforts. Year after year, your passion inspires us!

A special thank you to Steven Mintz and his family for the wonderful support they give the MIRA Foundation in achieving its objective, namely to help people with disabilities and most recently, children with a pervasive developmental disorder, including autism, by providing them with specially trained dogs to overcome their disability.
